About this item

  • Five Openings for Crab and Lobster: One aluminum gauge with 3", 3¼", 4", 5" and 5¾" openings. Common uses include 5¾" for recreational Dungeness in California and Oregon, 5" for blue crab and red rock crab, and 3¼" for lobster carapace. Size markings identify each opening.
  • Check the Sizes You Need: This model does not include 6 or 6¼ inch openings. For Dungeness, blue crab, rock crab or lobster, match the opening and measurement method to current rules for your species and fishing area before keeping your catch.
  • Slim, Lightweight Aluminum: A thin metal body slips into a wader pocket, jacket pocket or tackle kit without adding bulk. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and dry before storage.
  • Keep It Within Reach: The attachment hole takes your own lanyard, tether or clip so the gauge stays on your gear bag, bucket or boat. Lanyard and clip are not included.
  • Measure at the Rail: Check each crab and lobster before it goes in the bucket and return undersized catch right away. Made for crabbers fishing from piers, docks, jetties, kayaks and boats on both coasts.
  • Designed in San Francisco, Patent Pending, 1-Year Warranty: Designed by crabbers at AirFly in San Francisco. The gauge design is patent pending and backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
